Exciting news! Saint James was selected as the elementary school from the Diocese of Metuchen to present a project at the NJ Statehouse to celebrate Catholic Schools Week! The theme is "Our Catholic Schools Care for God's Earth" and the seventh and eighth grade Wetlands Remediation Project was chosen. On January 31, Mrs. Comiskey and Mrs. Jorgensen will accompany some of our students to Trenton, where they will make a presentation of our project. This project, done in conjunction with Rutgers University and Woodbridge Township, and supported by a grant from the Toshiba America Foundation, is an exciting part of our Classrooms Without Walls initiative. We look forward to showing the whole state the great things that are happening at SJS!
